Emerson treats its client's data with the utmost care, providing highly secure development protocols so that eRIMS2 is secure. Our clients represent the banking and healthcare industries, public entities and the Fortune 500, all of which have the strictest of security requirements.
Some of the security features provided with all production applications of eRIMS2 are:
- HTTPS web security that provides an SSL protocol which allows for encrypted communication.
- Fully Penetration tested
- Password requirements can be set up by individual clients. By default, eRIMS2 requires eight character passwords, with at least one number, one upper-case letter and one lower-case letter. Passwords must be reset every 60 days and the previous five passwords cannot be reused.
Hosting
Emerson provides hosting for the majority of its clients and utilizes the services of Peak 10 Data Center Solutions. Peak 10 is
SSAE 16 audited, which provides the highest level of assurance of quality control and security, as legislated by the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
